Some beautiful images from the #Bookstagram community!

Join me tonight at 8:30 pm MST to talk about some of the 2017 titles I'm really excited for!!! One of the books I hope to mention is The Disappearances by Emily Bain Murphy!!! This one sounds so good and Stephanie Garber blurbed it so I know it had to be amazing!!! It will be releasing July 4th from @hmhteen so make sure you add it to your TBR pile!!! 🖤🥀🖤🥀🖤🥀🖤🥀🖤🥀🖤🥀🖤🥀 "Thick with mystery, buried secrets, and magic, nothing is safe in The Disappearances. Be careful, or you might lose yourself in this strange and wondrous world, where stars go missing, reflections don’t exist, and the question, how much would you sacrifice for love? is given entirely new meaning. I adored this book!" – Stephanie Garber, author of Caraval What if the ordinary things in life suddenly…disappeared? Aila Quinn’s mother, Juliet, has always been a mystery: vibrant yet guarded, she keeps her secrets beyond Aila’s reach. When Juliet dies, Aila and her younger brother Miles are sent to live in Sterling, a rural town far from home--and the place where Juliet grew up. Sterling is a place with mysteries of its own. A place where the experiences that weave life together--scents of flowers and food, reflections from mirrors and lakes, even the ability to dream--vanish every seven years. No one knows what caused these “Disappearances,” or what will slip away next. But Sterling always suspected that Juliet Quinn was somehow responsible--and Aila must bear the brunt of their blame while she follows the chain of literary clues her mother left behind. As the next Disappearance nears, Aila begins to unravel the dual mystery of why the Disappearances happen and who her mother truly was. One thing is clear: Sterling isn’t going to hold on to anyone's secrets for long before it starts giving them up. 🖤🥀🖤🥀🖤🥀🖤🥀🖤🥀🖤🥀🖤🥀🖤🥀

Welcome to the strange town of Sterling where ordinary things in life disappear every seven years. If you were forced to lose one of your senses which one do you think you could live without? Today I am kicking off the @storygramtours for The Disappearances by @ebmwrites! The tour will run for 5 days and each day the amazing Emily has provided some special content as well as a riddle for you to solve! Here's mine... * * Hello! I'm Aila Quinn, and in my mother's hometown of Sterling, something goes missing every seven years: scents, dreams, reflections, stars, and colors. When I find my mother's old Shakespeare book with clues written in the margins, I follow the trail she left behind to try to solve the mystery. Each day I'll be leaving a trail for YOU to follow. Gather the clues and solve the riddle at the end for your chance to win a reward. Good luck!! The first thing to go in Sterling were scents. In Sterling, the scents I miss most are: warm, freshly baked cookies puffing up with sugar crystals, Mother’s chicory coffee every morning and her glass vial of "Joy" perfume, the painted bowl of lemons on the coffee table, Father’s fading aftershave when he leaned to kiss me goodnight, peonies, and soil fresh after a rainstorm. Your first clue is: FIN Follow along to discover tomorrow's clue with @cbookaddiction * * At the end of the week you will have all the pieces to the riddle and there will be a fantastic giveaway over on @storygramtours that you can enter so make sure to visit @cbookaddiction to get your next clue.
