Valentine's Day is for (Book) Lovers

February 14th is rolling around again -- and the only thing that smells better than roses (and goes better with chocolate) is a new book.

[And Gilmore Girls is coming back soon, so, hurray for that, AMIRIGHT?!]

Check out these cute Valentine's Day ideas that are just the right amount of sweet--no matter how (or with whom) you're planning to spend the day of love this year.

Blind Date with a Book: Libraries around the country are wrapping books to surprise you with something you might not have picked for yourself--but may fall in love with anyway. Swing by your local library to see if they're participating. The Eckhart Public Library wins my vote for favorite wrapping:

Can you guess what book this is?

And hat tip to Stephanie Elliott, author of the upcoming YA novel SAD PERFECT (FSG, 2017), for finding these AWESOME VALENTINE BOOKGRAMS at Booksparks. For just $10 you can send a book to your Galentine in cute packaging--and a book will be donated in your name to Reach Out and Read. Order yours here: http://gobooksparks.com/blog/booksparks-valentine-book-grams/

Valentine's Day really is a day to celebrate books.

After all, the best romances all started there, anyway.
